Sports surgery and arthroscopy

Mr Santosh Jacob is a highly skilled arthroscopy and sports surgeon with 3 high level fellowships and over 15 years surgical experience in treating sports conditions of the hip, knee, ankle, shoulder and elbow. 

He is equally comfortable treating elite athletes and weekend warriors.

With over 20 years of experience as a trauma surgeon including at some of the busiest trauma services in Western Sydney and Eastern Melbourne, Mr Jacob is accomplished at managing the most challenging orthopaedic trauma.

Hip, knee and shoulder  replacements are a part and parcel of the modern day orthopaedic surgeons practice. Mr Jacob has been involved in the evolution of hip and knee arthroplasty over the past 14 years and uses evidence based best practice with a combination of image based pre-operative planning, patient-specific instrumentation guides and robotic guided arthroplasty for optimal patient outcomes

Mr Santosh Jacob is an active member of

6. The Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA)

Mr Santosh Jacob is actively involved in research and publication with many publications and presentations at national and international conferences, journals and workshops.

Mr Jacob currently maintains a public appointment as a VMO orthopaedic surgeon at Monash Health (Melbourne) and works at Dandenong and Moorabbin hospitals besides consulting and operating at Peninsula private hospital  in Frankston and Monash House private hospital in Clayton.
